Grad Partaaay!

Happy graduation to my little sister Sarah! She's finally the last one to leave the nest and the 4th of 5 kids to go to Ohio State! Corinne and I can't wait until she's in Columubs!

So Brooks, Corinne, and I headed home for the weekend to celebrate Sarah's milestone. Saturday we went to the actual graduation which was surprisingly not too long for 650 graduates. Centerville now even has an acapella choir (they may have had it before, I just didn't know) and they sang Firework by Katy Perry which was amazing!!! We had some minor issues with the people behind us but that's neither here nor there. Afterward, we celebrated her graduation AND her birthday! The little lady is already 19 years old, crazy to remember the first time we met when she was a tiny 5 year old rocking in her chair like a fool!

Anyways, we still did the same old same old this weekend, but the location changed, and we got to have a party!

We still woke up like normal, had our coffee(milk)on the patio, read the paper, checked our emails, and played around.

And then the party began! My Grandpa made his famous BBQ pulled pork (Crusty Butts), and we paired it with baked beans, cole slaw, and fruit! It was so good to see family and friends that we hadn't seen in quite awhile! And aside from the guest of honor...Brooks stole the show!

Despite having no nap whatsoever on Sunday, and not the best sleep on Saturday, and even later finding out he had pink-eye, Brooks was ready to explore. He could not get enough grass in his mouth. He climbed underneath tables to reach that one leaf that he knew would taste delicious. He then made his way to the drinks to quench his thirst.

We had so much fun celebrating with Sarah and the family! Congratulations again to Sarah and so glad she is a buckeye!

This weekend we are headed to Zach's grandparents for a visit, and then to my aunt and uncle's pool so Brooks can hang with his little baby second cousin. And Mark is letting me borrow his badass digital SLR camera so the pictures should be good! Hope everyone's week is great, wish me luck on my finals! I'll be done Thursday! And then mini vacation with the hubby...only 11 more days, yay!
